tparnell told me this story when i came through and visited him in Maryland a few months back: that as an April' Fools trick, Slashdot was all done up in pink and glitter, with very bubbly news and geek-stuff reviews, and also polls as to what's-cuter, and little ditzy blurbs on cuteness. the title-bar for the day read OMG PONIES! in curly bubble letters. he gave a link with a screenshot of it recently...it made me snerk and giggle a bunch.
but...augh! cuteness! tiny ponies and very large horses in blankets!! it makes my day better. *grin* thank you.
