July 8th: Breakfast All Day!

i haven't the brain to write something clever tonight, but i'm posting the party announcement now so as to not forget and put off writing an invite until three days before the party (again).

therefore:
there will be a shindig, hootenanny, and most definitely waffles
at Breakfast All Day (which is, you see, my house)
on the 8th of July
from approximately 3pm until whenever

to celebrate
13,500 miles of highways and travelling,
Waltzing Matilda,
having a home to come back to,
and also good friends;
living in the present moment,
figuring out What Comes Next,
and the possibilities of the future;
waffles,
dancing,
whiskey,
and, of course, hats.

as always, there will be Breakfast served All Day. and also at 4am, if you're still there and want blueberry pancakes or perhaps eggs & toast. and the next morning, too, if you're around when i wake up.

let me know if you'll be there, if you can, and feel free to bring tasty things for eating and drinking, good music for dancing, and a stylish hat if you've got one.

yeah, i keep going into my closet and telling it to teleport me places, but all it does is scramble my piles of shoes. no good.

i'm hoping i'm back up to full speed by the 8th. i went out to a good party last night, but just didn't have the energy to do much beyond a little dancing and a little sitting around on the edges of things.

I, sadly, have plans for that evening already (which include dressing up in pirate gear and going to a late showing of the new Pirates movie with about 30 other people in pirate gear.) If I make it back to this area at a more reasonable time than I expect, I will see what I can do to make it by. :-)
