i had one tasty very-ripe mango, so i went looking for a lassi recipe. found one on a BBC Food page that involves "blitzing" your mango/etc in the blender. hee!
Ingredients
1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped (or tinned mango or tinned mango pulp)
150ml/5fl oz milk
175ml/6fl oz natural yogurt
2 tsp sugar
Method
1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blitz.
2. Pour into glasses and add some ice cubes.
...and now i have "Ballroom Blitz" stuck in my head. but i also have a mango lassi!
"And the man at the back said
Everyone attack
and it turned into a ballroom blitz..."

Date: 2005-02-01 07:08 am (UTC)finding fresh ripe mangos in boston at this time of year might be tricky, but i bet it'd suffice to use frozen or canned ones. (or "tinned", if you're feeling British...)
