i've been doing reasonably well, actually. had a very good time at burning man, have been quite busy with work and figuring out what-happens-next, took a trip to boston at the end of october, and now i'm mostly back to being busy with work and doing-things.

sadly, i can't make it to your party -- i'm leaving town on the 20th. i'll be back around january 5th, though. we should hang out sometime after that. how's school been treating you?
