next week is the opening of a metalwork show called "Iron or..." at Cellspace. december 15th, 7-10pm.

ooh. are you going to the squidlabs thing? if so, i might tag along if that's ok. i have class til 7 but i could drive myself to emeryville right after class... is it the sort of thing that's ok to be late to?

my current plan is to catch a ride with anand to the squidlabs thing around 6:30, and hopefully snag a ride home from him or colin afterward. and yeah, as far as i know it's fine to be late...i showed up at the very end, last time.

i've been doing reasonably well, actually. had a very good time at burning man, have been quite busy with work and figuring out what-happens-next, took a trip to boston at the end of october, and now i'm mostly back to being busy with work and doing-things.

sadly, i can't make it to your party -- i'm leaving town on the 20th. i'll be back around january 5th, though. we should hang out sometime after that. how's school been treating you?

Dead Hensons

Hello there. It's Amanda. I'm a big fan of the Dead Hensons and I've a few freinds from school who'd like to go. I could perhaps even give you a ride if your car is still being bad.

Also I'm totally starting practicing roller skating, so I can be a roller derby girl. I just need a name. I'm looking through all my old comics for obscure super hero/villians names. So far I've got

but Lady what? Lady steamroller? I dunno.

i might make it to the Dead Hensons. i heard word that there's a late show on saturday as well, 9pm also at 12 Galaxies. i'm more likely to make it to the evening show, i think. current plans for saturday involve possibly buying enormous quantities of kettle corn at the farmer's market and then going over to a friend's house to watch anime. (Samurai Champloo!)
