on the road: HOME!

home, indeed. woke up this morning in my own bed for the first time in three months, got smiles and good-morning hugs from Megan, and now i'm running out to meet Clare at Mama's Royale for breakfast and coffee and stories and catching-up and laughter.

today is unpacking, settling in. tomorrow is my farmer's market, more unpacking, and whatever else i feel like doing. fyfer, cerevisae, other bay-area people: anyone up for a bit of a picnic at the landfill tomorrow afternoon?

life is good.

i was very tempted to go ahead on out to kimberly's for craft-night and !!kittens!! but i also really needed some chill time alone at home to settle back in, so i decided to stay home tonight. i'll do my best to make it to the next one, though, and hopefully i'll see you before then sometime.

tonight ended up being a good chill quiet evening alone at home, exactly what i needed. i hope you've had a good visit this time around, and i should be in town for most of August...i'll be running off for a wedding in Canada somewhere in there, and i might go to Burning Man, but other than that i'll be around.

i wound up spending the evening in Berkeley. I just got back to Palo Alto about 10 minutes ago. I fly out tomorrow. As of this afternoon my next planned trip is the week of August 6-12. That may change as July comes into view.
